Sword Fighting Show Down: The Future

After whatever had caused me to pass out, I didn't remember a thing. But when I woke up, I could feel a sharp pain in my back. I gasped, and quickly opened my eyes. I looked around, a little dazed.

Only a few moments later, Lynn opened her eyes and gasped. I had been watching Elandri fight the man. She was doing pretty well, but I was thinking about going to help her.

I franticly looked around, then spotted Jonathan nearby. "What happened?!" I asked, the seering pain in my back hurting even more.

"Calm down," I said. "You got hit in the back with two arrows."

"Oh," I said, sighing. "Wait-what happened to that man? Did he get away?!" I asked, anger filling my voice.

I stood up, extending my hand for her to get up.

"Elandri is fighting him." I said simply.

I took his hand and stood up.
"Then we should go help her," I said, looking around. "Where is she?" I asked, probably sounding like an idiot. But, considering I didn't even know where I was right now, I had no idea where she was...

I took her by the arm and pulled her to the right. On the other side of some trees were the man and Elandri fighting using there swords.

"Oh," I said, laughing nervously. Then I asked "Are we gonna go help them or not?"

"I don't know if you're in any condition to help her, but we need to find whoever's shooting those arrows." I said, pointing out that the person hiding in the trees was still shooting arrows towards Elandri.

"Good point," I said, glancing at the arrows flying past Elandri. I glanced up in the trees, and quickly spotted the one that was probably closest to us.
"Okay, if you can somehow knock him out of the tree, or just make him drop the bow and a couple of arrows, I can help without going out there to fight...."

"Easy." I said.

I concentrated, turning my powers on again and turning my hair and eyes that bright yellow. I stuck my hand out and engulfed the bow the guy was using, then made my hand into a fist. The bow instantly broke into many splinters. I then engulfed his foot and pulled him down from the tree, making him land on his stomach.

"That helps," I started, "but I needed a bow and some arrows...." I looked around for someone else. "There," I pointed to another man in a tree. "Try to get the bow and a few arrows from him, okay?"

"Got it." I said. I quickly used my powers to both pull the bow from the man, and pull him out of the tree because he was still holding onto the bow. I brought the bow, and five arrows, back over to us.

(This is kinda like....a "private" roleplay between Elandri, Batgirl, and I. ^^)

"Thanks!" I said, grabbing the bow and an arrow. I pulled the string on the bow back, and got the arrow ready to shoot. I looked around, soon finding another man in a tree, who was aiming right at Elandri. If he had good aim, it would deffinatly hit her. So, before he got to shoot his arrow, I pulled the bowstring back, and quickly let go of it. It pierced the man somewhere in the chest, and he fell out of the tree, probably in a lot of pain.
"How was that?" I asked, grabbing another arrow quickly.

(Hey....what happened to Emiri's post....? Weird....)

"Good." I said, impressed. Suddenly, I had an idea. I concentrated on the shape of the arrows, and afew moments later, I had an arrow made of electricity. I picked it up and handed it Lynn.

"Try this."

(I don't know.....Maybe she deleted it)

I took the 'arrow' carefully, then did the same thing I would do with any arrow. I guess taking those classes was a good thing....
I searched the trees for another man, and soon found one. I shot the arrow at him, and he, too, fell from the tree.
"Better?" I asked, not really able to tell the difference.

(Yeahyeah, just wanted to know. That's all!

What DID happen to my post!? 0.o hmm...)

A few seconds later, the man's skin absorbed the arrow, and a strong electric shock went through him.

"Much." I said, starting to make some more of those arrows.

"How many men do you think there are up there?" I asked, talking about the ones with the arrows. I could only spot a few more, and I took the 'arrows' from Jonathan as he made them.

"I don't know." I said flatly. I had made more then enough arrows, so I took a bow from one of the men that had fallen. I picked up one of the arrows and drew it back, then shot it straight at another man's chest. It landed, and he fell.

I took the arrows, and shot all of them I could find that Jonathan didn't shoot first. Pretty soon, most of them were down. Now Elandri was fighting without having to worry about arrows shooting her...
Jonathan was shooting at the remaining men, and I looked over at Elandri. She was still fighting that man, and was getting weaker. I wouldn't say weak, but she was loosing energy. I grabbed one more arrow, and pulled back the bowstring. I aimed carefully, and let the bowstring go. The arrow flew through the air, and hit him in the chest, only inches away from his heart.
"Bullseye," I whispered to myself, smirking.

I was glad she had done that, but a little worried for her. I knew Elandri probably wouldn't be happy that she had done that for her.

I was glad that was out of the way, but I knew Elandri wouldn't be happy about it. So, whenever Elandri decided to come to where we were standing, I'd be ready for her to 'unleash her wrath' on me....

Now that THAT was over, I took some gauze out of my utility belt, then I turned to Lynn.

"Here, let me see your back." I said.
