I scowled at Elandri, wondering why she would joke.

"Nobody and nothing." I said, answering both of their questions. It was true. I had gotten the scar when I died. Yes, died. Long story.

I gasped in mock surprise. "You-you..." I narrowed my eyes cunningly, joking, before speaking again. "You're a masochist?"

(Had to look that one up..ha ha, very funny. heh)

I narrowed my eyes at her.

"No!" I said, my voice surprisingly louder than it was supposed to be. I sighed, looking away. Should I tell them?

(Heh heh. My signature line.)

"Fine, fine. Mr. Pushy." I said loudly. "Go have a cry or something." With that, I stalked off, my temper flaring.

I scoffed. What is her problem, I thought to myself. I looked over at Lynn who had a worried look on her face. I smiled slightly and stood up.

"I'm going to go talk to her..." I said. Before she could answer, I walked after Elandri.

I resolved to run as fast as I could, off to somewhere were no one could find me, but that thought was completely destroyed when I tripped over my silly dress and fell face first on the ground. I tried to pull myself up, moaning, but it really didn't work. I fell to my knees again, and I resolved to get out of the dress as fast as I could when I got myself out of the mess. I supposed I broke some kind of bone somehwere. I couldn't tell where, but it hurt. Really hurt.

I saw her trip and ran up to help when she couldn't get up. I extended my hand.

"Need some help?" I asked, and unlike her, my voice did not mock. I could see she was in pain, and I wasn't going to joke about it.

I rolled my eyes. It seemed like a week of accidents. "Not particularly, no."
I glared at him fiercely.

"Whatever," I said, putting my arm at my side. I sat down in front of her, my face looking away.

"I'm...sorry." I said.

I rolled my eyes. "Of course you are," I mocked, putting my hands behind my back to try to unlace the tight bodice. I decided I would simply wear the under dress that was beneath the fancy dress I was currently wearing. It would be lighter, and much more flexible than the full, long one.

I scoffed, shaking my head as I stared at the trees.

"What is your problem? I try to say I'm sorry, and you just mock me." I said, squinting my eyes.

I didn't comment on the statement, concentrating fully on unlacing my dress. I ground my teeth in frustration, both with the dress and with Jonathan.

"No answer? Fine, whatever." I said. "All I'm trying to say, is I'm sorry I yelled at you. I just hate it when people mock me about....this." I said, gesturing towards my scar. "I get it, it's ugly and makes me look horrible. I just don't get why people like to point that out."

I raised an eyebrow. "I DO think it looks classy, though," I pointed out dryly.

"Yeah, sure." I said, smirking. "I hate it. It reminds me every day of......this thing that happened." I said.

"Stop feeling sorry for yourself, it'll get you nowhere. You're not getting my pity," I told him, frustrated still. After a moment of silent, I cried out. "Heaven help me, someone untie this bodice, please!" That dress was making me crack, and I was sure of it.

"First of all, that's good, because I don't WANT your pity. Second of all, let me see that." I said, moving towards her. I began untying the bodice, accidentally pulling on the laces a few times making the bodice tighter around her.

I winced a couple of times, and I doubted Jonathan's knowledge of women's dresses. I rolled my eyes, but secretly in gratitude.

After a minute or so, I got it undone.

(Sorry it's REALLY short, I just couldn't think of anything to say!)

I sighed deeply in relieft, glad to have that burden off me. I pulled the leather part of, then the skirt, and then the waist part. Finally, I was sitting in a calf-length, white dress with three-quarter sleeves. I squeezed my eyes shut, enjoying the freedom of breathing, and cursing myself for not coming to that solution before.

"You're welcome," I said sullenly, standing up and starting to walk back towards camp.

"My pleasue," I muttered darkly. He was just going to leave me to rot, so I lay down, willing the pain to subside.

I noticed she wasn't following and turned back around. She looked like she was in pain. I walked over next to her.

"What's wrong?" I asked, some concern in my voice.

"Whadda you think, genius?" I asked, feigning boredom. I yawned loudly.
