"Kaine seems a bit uptight," she said, regretfully.

'Really?" Wes sais sarcastically. "I hadn't noticed."

Elaria glowered at Wes, "Well what are you gonna do about it?"

"You want me to do something about it? Like what?"

She shrugged. "I dunno..."

"He's kinda a jerk."

"No," Elaria told him, exasperated.

"Well, he acts like it."

"He's just sometimes like that," Elaria told Wes.

"Yeah....anyway, you okay?"

"Yeah," she said fleetingly. It wasn't really a big deal.

Wes sighed, then lied down on the ground, making some leaves under him crunch.

"I'm going to see him," she told Wes decisively.[/b]

Wes sat up a little, then pulled on her arm, making her stumble backwards and sit down next to him. He spoke.

"I-I want to talk about something. And can you not be as hard-headed as usu-"
We was cut off by the fireball that struck Elaria in the back(dun, dun, DUN!!!!). Wes set up, looking to see where the fireball had come from. He grabbed a strong looking tree branch off the ground as he sat up. He was surprised at what he saw......Taye(DUN, DUN, DUNNNNNN!!!!!!!!! Muhahahahahaha!!!!).

"You thought you could kill me so easily, boy? You were wrong. And don't even think about trying to go get the gypsy-boy. I already took him out."

"Wh-what do you mean, "Took him out"?" Wes asked, knowing what he meant, but not wanting it to be true.

Taye put his finger to his neck and slowly brought it across his neck, making a "krccchhhhh"noise.

"I think you know what I mean." Taye said cooly.


(that's all I could think of........heh heh heh, bet you weren't expecting THAT to happen, were ya? Oh, by the way, I was reading all the old posts, and Elaria's brother's name is Arashi. I think I like Kaine better, though. It's up to you, though! He's your character!)

(Yeah, I couldn't be bothered finding out his name, but I like Kaine better as well.)

Elaria shook her head, keeping a cold demeanor. She made an ice sword, and swung it at Taye with ease. "What are you doing here?" Elaria spat.

"Well, I waited for you two to leave, then stopped the act. I wanted you to think I was dead. So, I waited a little while, then went back to his house. When I got there, only your brother was there. It was a quick battle, ending in his death. Sorry, Elaria, but he was in my way."

I glared at him. "I might have given you a chance," I told him, venom dripping from my voice. "If you weren't so cruel, and you actually cared."

"Oh well. Guess I'll just have to give you the same fate as your brother."

Taye created an ice sword using water in a pond near him. He ran at Elaria, then swiped at her.

Elaria stood planted to the spot, waiting for the opportune moment.

He swung his sword at her side.
