Sacrifice

When we think of ourselves

That's my song I feel really strongly about those poor people across the world, so I decided to write a song about making a sacrifice to help those people. I am also a Christian, so I have included God's love in all of that! Sorry it's so ashort, but it doesn't need to be long to get the message across, right?

Okay, I'm proably too late but it's fun anyway!

Going down the road, in a fancy car
Thinking life's a piece of cake
To you it is.
To others it's not

Your fancy car
Your designer clothes
Never thinking about anyone but yourself


People have problems as well
Your fancy car
could get smashed up
and you wouldn't even care

You'd get a new one and laugh and say
"I didn't like it much anyway"

But, the people who can't afford it
will sit and stare away
at the car thats wrecked
and they can't afford
to throw away

Screeching of tires on your road
you look up to late
Suddenly it's different
Because somebody has taken your place.

Okay, this is about somebody really rich and stuff, who don't care about anything and then they get killed or hurt or whatever at the end. And, thats what it means basically. I got the idea from a poem I wrote but it turned out a bit differently.
The poem was
Tires screech on an old country road, screams fill the air. The two cars collide with a thunderous crash, the lost hopes and dreams of the person thats past. Are drifting away along with the screams. And, as you feel yourself being pulled away you shed one last tear. Because, the person that's dead. Is You.

Absolutely beautiful.
