Cool Zone Convention

"Okay," I replied, still waiting for the elevator.

Once the doors did open, two very proffesional looking Japanese people stepped out. They gave me a weird look, wrinkling their noses in disguist. Of course; they didn't like my style. Too proffesional.

I spit my tongue out at them and made a teasing noise. Not sure why....They walked off, though, and I stepped into the elevator, Elandri and Kip following behind. I pressed the button that would take us to the main floor and waited.

I walked slowly down the stairs, them being way too steep for my taste. By the time I got back downstairs, Kip, Star, and El were already waiting.

"Sorry," I said, apoligizing for taking so long. "Those stairs are really steep."

"It's okay," I replied, smiling. "That's kind of why I took the elevator. Well, that, and it's quicker.

"Alright," I continued. "Are we going to check out the rest of the hotel first, or go to that ramen shop across the street?" I asked.

"Whatever you guys wanna do, I'm good with," I said, not really giving any input. I honestly didn't care that much. I was starving, but I also wanted to see the rest of the hotel.

'Well, we can use our Yen to buy some ramen...'
I said impatiently.

"Then let's go get some ramen," I said, starting to walk towards the front door.

"Alright," I said, following Kayla to the front door of the lobby.

"Somebody's a little pushy about their ramen," I murmered, laughing quietly.

'Well Sorry, just because I love Ramen...' I began, then stopped as I was nearly hit by a car.
'heh, forgot how busy the streets were.' I said, trying to appear nonchalant.

"Be careful!" I said, being as worrysome as always. Once the cars stopped, we hurried across the street.

I chuckled after Kip almost got hit by a car in the middle of the street, and Kayla started to worry.

"Y'know, they make crosswalks- and stop lights- for a reason." I stated, in a as-a-matter-of-fact tone.

I chuckled at Star's comment as we crossed the road. Once we got to the other side, we were instantly met by the ramen place.

Once we got to the ramen place Kip was talking about, he became over-joyed.

"Wow," I whispered to Kayla. "I didn't realize noodles could make a guy so happy."

I adjusted my beanie for the last time, then followed everyone into the ramen place.

"Yeah," I whispered back, chuckling a little. It had seemed as though Kip must've eaten a ton, but he still acted as though he were starving or something.

I happily ordered the food for everyone and beckoned everyone over to a table.
'Ramen! YAAAAAAAAAAAY!' I exclaimed.

Kip hurried and ordered some ramen for all of us, then called us over to a table he seemingly randomnly picked out. I walkd over and sat down, looking around. The place was kind of small, but it was still semi-nice.

I followed a nearly-screaming Kip to a table he had randomly picked.

"Gee, uhh..." I said, not really sure what to say. "Thanks for ordering the food so fast..." Not that what he ordered me was what I wanted....


I took the ramen from him and looked around. Even though this place was kinda small, it was still pretty nice.

I started eating my ramen, my stomach still growling slightly. It was pretty good. Not great, but good.

(What do you mean "not great" ?????)
I decided to ask some questions.
'So, what's the weather like in the U.S?' I asked.
"Tarnation!' I thought. 'I'm talking about the weather!'

(I ish a very picky eater. Chances are, I wouldn't think something is spetacularly great. ^^')

"Freezing," I answered. "Even in Florida. It's supposed to be warm there, but it's been freezing lately...I mean, the rest of the country is buried in snow, so I guess I shouldn't complain," I said, kind of...chattering on. I did that a lot.

"Except for us," I corrected Kayla. "Missouri isn't covered in snow. At least, not where I live. It's only snowed once in the past two months. And even then, it only stuck for a little while before melting."

I ate some of the ramen. It was okay. Deffinatly not the best I'd ever had, but okay.

"So..uhmm..." I started, trying to think of a topic for conversation. "How's the weather in Australia?" I asked Kip.

'Well, you know, unbrearably hot.' I replied. 'Have you ever played Tennis at a sweltering 40 degress celecius?'
Catching their puzz;ed expressions, I added, 'That's about 55 degrees Farenheit, methinks.'

"Brr...55 degrees...That's freezing." I said, pushing that cold feeling away.

I finished off my ramen, and by then, everyone else had.

"Soo...what do you guys want to do next?" I asked.

"First off," I started, "55 degrees is absolutely NOT freezing. During this time of the year, it's about an average of 15-20 degrees each day."

I finished off the rest of my ramen, which was okay, and answered Kayla's other question.

"And I don't really care what we do next." I answered. "I'll leave that up to you guys."

'Shall we go into the city? Theres some great shopping.' I sugested. Again.
Just then, my eyes caught someone familiar out side the window. I leapt up.
"OH MY GAWD! IT"S JACKIE CHAN!" I yelled.
(I know Jackie Chan is Chinese, but what the heck.)

"Right..." I said after Kip nearly jumped out of his seat and yelled something about Jackie Chan.

"Do you honestly think that's Jackie Chan?" I asked, searching the crowd outside of the window.
