Maybe that's to resemble....that he has to defeat the Fire Lord with his own power, and without the help of the Spirit World/Avatar State, maybe. Cuz remember, after the Season 2 finale, he wasn't supposed to be able to enter the Avatar State again, since he was hit/killed while in the Avatar State....Either way, it still looks cool!!! XD

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Or MAYBE, he tried to go into the Avatar-State, and he only HALF went into it!!!!!!! (Kidding....sorta. )

I guess we'll just have to wait and see....
