So, still no idea where we're going, but I've narrowed it down to these:
Monster Splash, Oct. 24-26 & 31
Rickenbacker Causeway
Miami, FL
Halloween themed shows, a haunted house, rides, slides, fireworks and lots of spooky fun. After 5 p.m. the Nighttime Bash with the Field of Screams with acres of rides, slides and a skeleton walk, the Frightening Manor, a kid friendly haunted house, The Ghostly Manner Haunted House and the Fall Harvest
Festival with pumpkin carving contests, potato sack
races and more. 5 p.m.-10 p.m. Miami Seaquarium.

www.seaquarium.com, 305-365-2518.
Boo at the Zoo, Oct. 25-26
1301 Summit Blvd
West Palm Beach, FL 33405
Be "spooked" at the Palm Beach Zoo's thirteenth annual Halloween celebration. Local businesses and non-profit organizations partner with us to make this event a "ghoulish" good time for the whole family. Enjoy 'trick or treating' in the midst of 1,500 animals, non-stop animal encounters and wildlife shows, costume contests for all ages, "scary" children's entertainment and performances, and the largest haunted house in "Boo at the Zoo" history. 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Palm Beach Zoo at Dreher Park. 561-533-0887
(^ This one just because of the animals. ^^')
Fright Nights, Oct. 26 to Nov. 1
9067 Southern Blvd
West Palm Beach, FL 33411
Get haunted to the hilt with spooky houses guaranteed to turn you into a quivering bowl of jelly. This spooktacular event will feature four haunted houses, including Country Bill's Meat Market (specializing in butchery), The Smiths (creepiest neighbors in town) and Dead End (which is exactly what it seems). There also will be Monster Midway rides, food, a special fright zone, a "sick flicks" cinema, the Brothers Grim Sideshow, games and more, 6-11 p.m. Thursdays, 6 p.m.-midnight Fridays and Saturdays, and 6-11 p.m. (561/793-0333; Frightnights.net). $20 in advance, $25 at gate for all events, rides and houses; $10 in advance, $15 at gate for gate and houses.
Nightmare: Ghost Stories
2136 NW 1st Ave
Miami, FL 33127
The haunted house that scared the bejeezus out of New York City has migrated south to frighten the sun-tan lotion off of Miami. This interactive, walk-through experience will take you through 17
horror-filled rooms, each equipped with a twisted spirit designed to turn you into a screaming little girl. Two other features at this event include the Old School nightmare, a smaller haunted house, and the Mortuary, a fun funeral parlor in which the dead put the living to rest. Various times on Thursdays through Saturdays, through Nov. 1 at SoHo Studios in the Wynwood District, Miami. Call 888-695-0888. $25-$45.
I'm thinking probably the "Fright Nights" one, the one at the Palm Beach Zoo, or this last one. Not so sure about the one at the Seaquarium.
