Here's paragraph one if chapter one! Yaaaaaay!

Kahna woke up, feeling elated. She shoved the plain, white covers on her bed back, and pulled herself from her warm haven, regretfully. The petite girl’s azure eyes scanned the plain, white-painted room that she took up residence in, critically. She stared outside, with a bemused look on her face. Snow? At this time of the year? Kahna ran a pale hand through her fiery hair, and pulled out some respectable clothes from her small closet – cream coloured breeches and a sleeveless shirt. Once she had finished dressing, Kahna grabbed a long, leather sheath from the corner of her spacey room, strapped it to her back and ran out of her small apartment hastily.
