I was just reading some old posts, and got an idea for a thread like this. Just post what you're currently working on, what you've finished, what you've put on the back-burner, or even stuff you started to write, but gave up on/decided to rewrite. Whether it's one-shots, fan fictions, novels, whatever. Also, maybe you could put some ideas that have been floating around in your head here. Or not.


What I'm Currently Working On:


'Hey There Delilah'---This is my main Avatar fan fiction. It's coming along fairly well.

'Untitled'---Okay, this one is...confusing. I'm currently working on both the rewrite of the original, but I'm also working on a rewrite of the rewrite. I'm not sure which one to go with. Oh, and this is a rewrite of my first fan fction, with Jonathan. It's told through Jon's P.O.V. Also, I've been desperately trying to think of a title. This thing seriously needs one. I've tentativiely decided on 'It Always Rains', but I'm not sure.

'Comic'---Not the actual title, just all I could think of. This one is just for fun, I'll probably never actually do anything with it. It's just a script for a comic book version of the above rewrite, 'Untitled'. It also says what size/where the panels would be.

'The Future'---Again, this is the working title. It's *one* of the sequels for the above 'Untitled'. It's told mainly through one of my character, Sarah's. P.O.V.

'Teen Titans: A Parody Of Epic Proportions'---This is probably one of the silliest things I've ever worked on. It's a parody of Teen Titans, detailing what happened when they found out that their show was cancelled/what they did about it. It'll probably be a very long one-shot.

'Gotham City, Look Out'---Working title. This is kind of a sequel to 'Untitled'. More of an in-between. It tells of Jonathan and the Titans having to take a trip to Gotham City(City of the Batman), mainly because Robin is a nervous little freak who doesn't want his mentor to deal with Slade.

'The Horrors of Fan Fiction'---Another comedy/parody. This is a short one-shot. It details what happens when the Titans find out about fan fiction, particularly some of the more...er...well, sick and twisted ones. This one is VERY fun to write.


Things I've Put On The Back Burner:


'Summer'---Haven't worked on it in a while. Maybe I'll start it back up again. This is basically just telling the life story of my character, Summer.

'Nightwing'---...Maybe I should put this in the "Not Going To Continue' pile. I don't know, it's very...not good.

'Titans of Another Dimension'---Another sequel to 'Untitled'. It's basically about Jonathan getting trapped in another dimension. The dimension where the comic book Teen Titans live. This one is okay, but I don't know if I'm going to continue it.

'The Adventures of William D. Warshe' aka 'The Life of William D. Warshe'---I've barely even got any of this down, and I don't know if I'm going to finish it. This is a novel, not a fan fiction.


Things I've Finished:

'Untitled'---The original. This was VERY bad, and I've changed a lot of things since.

'Striker'---Sequel to 'Untitled'. This was also very bad, but not as much as 'Untitled'.

'Jonathan's Story'---This was a short little one-shot told from Jon's P.O.V. It pretty much summed up his life story. It wasn't very good. Maybe I'll take another swing at it now, though, that I've changed Jon's story around a little bit.


Things I've Stopped Writing:


'Sorin'---The original one.

'25 Years Later'---An Avatar fan fiction. As the title suggests, it was set twenty-five years in to the future. I don't know, I just didn't feel the urge to write this. Besides, I think that I'm better off writing mainly with my own characters, unless I'm writing a parody/comedy.

'Rain'---Just a short little one-shot I wrote during one of my Writer's Block phases, where I write a bunch of really bad things until I finally come up with something good. This was one of them. It had Jonathan and it, and it was set after the rewrite of 'Untitled'. I have no idea how to describe it...


Ideas:

(I have A LOT of ideas. These are just some of them)

-I was thinking of writing something that was told through the P.O.V. of a few superheros, detailing their after-thoughts/actions after 9-11. I had started with Superman, and discovered that I'm not very good with Superman. Just goes to show I should stick with writing things with the Batman Family. Anyway, I'm not sure if I should give it another swing, maybe starting with Batman or The Flash this time.

-Something related to Birds of Prey/Barbara Gordon? I don't know.

-Life stories of all of my characters that don't already have their own stories. For instance, I couldn't do too much with Jonas and Delilah(From 'Hey There Delilah'), because they already kind of have a story. Well...I might be able to do something with Delilah. But Jonas reveals a lot of his backstory throughout 'Hey There Delilah'. Anyway, I kind of like this idea. What do you guys think?



Okay, my hands are starting to hurt. If this wasn't so long, I wouldn't post it, mostly because I'm not sure it's such a good idea. But I just spent a lot of time typing this, so what the heck.

Oh, another thing I stopped for the moment/never really started writing:

'Through My Eyes'---An Avatar fan fic, told through Toph's P.O.V., and detailing pretty much everything from 'The Western Airtemple' all the way to the finale. I was thinking about putting my own spin on it, but I'll probably just leave it as is. Even if it does mean leaving in Sukka. *Shudders* Maybe I'll have Toph be jealous...

Hm...I like the name ('Details Of The Shadows'), but you're right, it kind of doesn't fit your story.
