"Yep!" I said, ready to get out of the place.

I pulled out some money from my wallet, and I followed Kayla to the counter-thing. I waited behind her while she bought whatever she was buying (), while I was trying to get the right amount of money out of my scruffy wallet-thing.

We went up to the counter, and I proceeded to buy my stuff. I pulled the right amount of money out of my pocket after the guy rang it all up, and handed it to him. He put my stuff into a plastic bag, and I stepped to the side so that Star could buy her stuff.

As I approached the counter, still fumbling with my wallet, I sat the graphic novel down. The guy rang it up, and I put the right amount of money on the counter....Well, hopefully it was the right amount.

The guy ended up giving me change back, but at least I had given him enough. I stepped over to the side, standing by Kayla, so Kip could buy whatever he was going to buy.

I started to read my new graphic novel as we waited for Kip. So much Nightwing-y goodness...

I looked over at Kayla, who was reading her comic thing.

"Soo..." I started, trying to make a conversation. "Which graphic novel/comic book did you get?" I asked, watching Kip get out his money.



(Yes, when I put something like "graphic novel/comic book" in quotations, it means I am literally saying "graphic novel forward-slash comic book". I know, I'm weird like that. But I say it all the time! '^^)

I looked up at Star, who had said something.

"A Nightwing graphic novel. One I haven't read before...It's pretty good," I answered.

"Oh," I answered. "Cool."

I stood there silently, waiting for Kip. When he finally got everything he needed, I spoke up.

"Okay, where to next?" I asked, looking out into the bustling streets from a window.

I looked at the time.
'There's a concert starting in about an hour in Shinjuku. If we catch the train we can go see it.' I suggested.

"Who's performing?" I asked, although I didn't really care that much. A concert sounded great.

'Some band known as "Nightomea"' I replied. 'I don't really know who they are, but the name sounds familiar.'

"Sounds good to me. What about you, Star?" I asked.

"Uhm," I started, hesitant. "I'd really rather not. I just wouldn't feel very...comfortable, going to a concert to some band I've never heard of before. I mean, what if they worship the devil or something?" I was being sarcastic, but I really didn't want to go. It just wouldn't feel right to go.

"Sorry." I appolagized. "I can hang out at the hotel if you guys want to go. I'm not gonna hold you back." I smiled nervously.

I looked to Kayla, to see what she wanted to do.
'Well, whatever you decide, I'll do.' I announced.

I stood there silently, waiting for Kayla to respond.
