Word of the Day!

.....Yeah, I have no idea WHY I'm doing this, but I just felt like doing it!! Razz

Okay, so, everday, I'm going to post a new word, which shall be this site's "Word of the Day"! I'll mostly be getting the words from my one book "100 Words To Make You Sound Smart (c)"! Razz

Sooo.....Yeah.....Here's today's word of the day!:

Accolade:
Noun

1. An expression of approval.
2. A special acknoladgement, such as an award.

Use it in a sentance:

She did so good on her report, the teacher gave her an accolade.

Was that too confusing for anyone? If so, just tell me, and I'll try making the next one...more simple! Razz

Oh, and I'll put how to pronounce the word next to the word once I can figure out how to type all of those little..doohicky-thigys, like the "a" with a line over it and stuff (wow, I'm SO tired, and I sound stupid. I am so sorry! '^^)

Anyway, I just thought this might be helpfull, like if one of you guys were writing a story, and wanted to put..."big" words in it. '^^

Why not? If you're just randomnly posting or if you were cursing AGAIN (If we're still doing warnings, I believe you have two or three of them left.), then why shouldn't we delete your post?

Today's word of the day is....*drum roll*....Narcissit! I don't know why, but that word always sounded...cool to me! '^^ Razz

Anyway, here's the deffinition for "narcissism":
