Stupid Things That Make Me Really Mad:

Having to wait until September to see new episodes of NCIS. I think the main reason I hate this, is because my end-of the-school-year test thingy is in August, and I'm really nervous about it, but I really want September to come quickly, but in order for that to happen, I have to get past that darn test.

...Stupid people/rude people/preps. 'Nuff said.


Serious Things That Make Me REALLY Mad:

Prop 8/the ban on gay marriage in California/making gay marriage against the law. This just really, really, REALLY pisses me off. Rant: I see no reason why a man and a man or a woman and a woman should be forbidden from getting married. To me, it's the same as making it against the law for a man and a woman to get married. I know that the bible says it's "not right" or "sinful" or whatever, but not everyone is religious or lives their life according to the bible. So I see no reason for this to come in to play. As long as it's not harming anyone, I don't see why people should be kept from living their lives how THEY want to, not how their state says they should.

Most republicans. I just don't like them. Our governor is a republican, and he's not that bad, though. I just don't usually agree with most of the things republicans are about. I mean, yeah, not all dems are all that great, either. I just tend to "side" more with the democrats than I do with the republicans.

...Wait. How do you "beg to differ" with the second thing I said? I didn't really say anything specific/bad about republicans, just that I don't usually like them. How can you "beg to differ" about me not liking republicans? O_o

And don't even get me started on the first thing. I VERY much disagree with you on that first subject-thing, and there's no reason to debate about it To me, debating is trying to convince the other person/side that you're right and they are wrong. I know that I will never change my opinion on the subject of gay marriage, and you will most likely not either, so there's no reason to debate about it.

I dislike debating. Like, a lot. Mostly because I usually end up really disliking the person I'm debating with, for some reason. I know that they have a different opinion then me, but somehow hearing/reading them try to fight with you about it makes it "real". And that makes me not like them.

You and Squidlet could start a 'Debate/Discussion' thread over in the General Discussion forum, though. I'm sure you guys could finds tons of subjects to debate/discuss.
