Can't remember if I posted here, so I shall post anyway on my thoughts.

I do take my characters seriously, as if they are real people. I try to empathize with them and try to figure out what they would do in some kind of situation! It's strange how even though you invented the character, it has a mind of it's own!

Seriously. They just take on a mind of their own.

Yeah, and I DO take my characters (most of them '^^) very seriously. Like, when I was in the process of writing Star's first story, I figured I should know what it was like to be Star. And, since I couldn't magically be exactly like her, I decided to start off "small".
Well, I figured I'd better start off knowing what it's like to be a vegetarian (yes, Star's a vegetarian; how'd ya guess? ), so, for a whole week (I loved meat too much; I couldn't go any farther than that '^^) I became a vegetarian!

I kind of....have a voice for Jon. ^^' Seriously, I can speak in what I believe what he would sound like. It's a little weird, but it helps to see if something that I'm having him say would sound right in his voice.

Heh, I can sorta do that with some of my characters, too. '^^

But, my point in case in my earlier post, I'll pretty much do anything to get a better understanding of my characters. They're just that important to me...

My chatacters do not have minds of their own. Characters taking control of the story, thats as olod as quills! My characters are galley slaves.
