This is a contest where you have to write a story based on a phrase.

The phrase is 'the love life overcomes the fear of death'.

I'm just going to asume it is so here is my entry

Life's not fair, I thought. I sobbed into my pillow when suddenly somebody appeared in my room. It was a girl with eyes that were a little bit sad but not mostly. She smiled sort of at me. "didn't you know Life is a blessing"? I shook my head. "Everyone is out to get me". The angel or whatever she was smiled gently. That is what you think Kiersten. Life is a blessing. Enjoy it while it lasts, for me it didn't last long enough. I stared at the personage. What do you mean? I demanded.
The angel sighed softly. I knew you would need convincing.
She started her story.
My name is Katelyn Williams. I was born to a rather rich family in the 1800's. When I was eighteen years old I was murdered or so it was thought by my beau Johnathan Jones. In reality I had taken my life because of something that I had been upset about it. And then I became what I am right now and I have always regretted it.
Now, Christie. You do not want to make the choice that I did. It wrecked a lot of lives. I had a fear of death. And, I hated life. I overcame that fear by dying. Loving life is the key to overcomming that fear. I see a lot of myself in you. Christie you do not want to make this desicion. Love life, don't wallow in it. I thought about it and concluded that I would put my plans off for a bit, however I would almost ignore what she was saying. Almost. Only, I would love life.

ok me- the love life overcomes the fear of death

Mom was gone. The police was still looking for them. "Where was she last?" and things like that. I wondered how was that going to get her back. But I was 6-so I never really knew that they can't just get her here in a few minutes. But I did know that she was gone.
My brother, Jason, was 13. He was crying alot. I NEVER saw him cry. Like when he got burnt before-really badly- he just stared at it like a bruise.
"When is she coming back?" I asked.
"I don't know-I really don't know."
So this was his stupid answer?
"NO! Lets go LOOK for her!"
But I couldn't go out.
See, I got this really bad sickness where I can't go outside-only at night. I always had it. No lamps at all.
No nightlights.
No nothing like that.
"You know you can't. Not even in the night. Mom would never forgive you for it."
I cried.
"HOW did she leave?"
"Went to the store-never came back-I am sorry Emily."
But I knew she WILL come back.

The next day

The police came. The man was sad-red eyes and all.
He only wanted to talk to Jason.
"No!" I said. "I AM STAYING!"
But Jason shouted, "GO EMILY!"
I cried even more.
But I left-but at my room I could hear the police man.
"We saw a car crashed against the woods. It was your mother's. We are so sorry."
No...
Mom was gone-forever.
That was it...

Jason lock himself in his room-but I just stared outside through the curtains.
"Emily...."
"Huh?"
I smiled. "Mommy!" It sounded like her!
I went to peek outside. Mom was there. All white. But it was Mom. She was pretty.
I gulped, Mom was there-but outside.
I wanted to go out there-but the sun. So hot...
"No..." I thought. "Time for me to do it."
I opened the door.
I ran on the grass...then burst into mom's hug.
"Emliy-you shouldn't. Go back. I will be here. You will be safe."
"No..."
"Thank you...bye...my nightgirl..."
I cried.
"Bye-bye"
Mom left. Then I screamed-& fainted.
"EMILY!" I heard Jason.
"Mommy was here..."

I am ok.
I am 10 & the sun surprisely didn't do anything to me when I was 6.
Because of Mom, I say.
Jason smiles, "Yeah-Emily."
My aunt believed my story.
"Wow...I believe in that alright."
Jason didn't.
But all I know I was safe.

That was very intresting!
So, is she like a supernatural creature because she can't go out in the sun or does she just have really pale skin that burns very easily?(like Mulch in Artemis Fowl?)

i found out about it when i read this book called i think Moon Girl or Moonlight!
